On October 6th, Football Beyond Borders held a Supporters Supper in Shoreditch to say thank you to many of the people who have helped the organisation in the past six months. The event was held with two other significant events in mind: firstly to launch our Summer School’s magazine Oh So South, and also to announce our partnership with Seenit, a filming app company. The dinner had a Moroccan theme with delicious food prepared by Sarah from The Little Cooking Pot, a vegetarian cooking company. It was a night for FBB to give back to their supporters and to really connect with members of our extended FBB family.
One of the guests was Gareth Evans, one of the Directors of Flamingo who said the following “”The FBB supporters dinner will definitely be a highlight of my year, professionally and personally. It was amazing to be in a room full of people who’ve given their support and in turn who’ve been inspired and enriched by the FBB family.
Watch this space for the official public launch of the magazine Oh So South and more videos from the SeenitApp coming soon!!
Football Beyond Borders is a registered UK charity which uses the power of football to tackle inequality and provide opportunities for young people to achieve their goals and make their voices heard.
"I have been extremely impressed with the high level of football coaching that FBB offer. The sessions are really well thought out for all abilities and really develop the mental and physical attributes required in football."
