With the whole world seemingly turned upside down, it’s clear that, more than ever, young people across the UK need support, guidance, and encouragement to succeed.

Even as we adapt to these toughtimes, Football Beyond Borders continues to grow in our ambition to change thelives of disadvantaged young people. As we hit a significant period of growth, we are looking to appoint a senior leaderas the Chair of our motivated and collaborative Board of Trustees.

Who we’re looking for

The new Chair of our Board of Trustees will bring previous board experience, significant strategic leadership skills, top-flight interpersonal ability, and a strong professional and personal network to the table.

Most critically, you’ll be motivatedby the vision and mission of FBB and be committed to living our values, helpingus to continue providing long-term, intensive support, built aroundrelationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.

Football Beyond Borders — FBB —became a registered charity in 2014, and is now one of the UK’s fastest growingsocial sector organisations.

FBB uses the power of football toinspire young people from disadvantaged communities to achieve their goals,make their voices heard, and fulfil their potential at school.

Each week, we work with over 1,000young people across London, Essex and the North West, delivering a diverse anddynamic curriculum to supplement and enrich their schooling to great success;in 2019, 95% of FBB participants who were at risk of exclusion at the start ofthe year finished the year still in school.
